OLYecology began back in 2004. Originally it was an office space shared with a free school and free geek computer recyclers.... Then it was called an ecology center. All this took place 2004-2006 next door to the post office in downtown Olympia. After all these years the ecology center is mostly in boxes across the street at Media Island international. But the best part of OLYecology, the Forest Policy Research Project, was never put in a box. It's a still living projects that has 501(c)3 fiscal spnsorship from Media Island internationa;.
